Yuri Elkaim Bio:
I’m the founder and CEO of Healthpreneur
I’m also a husband, father of 4 boys, a New York Times bestselling nutrition author, former professional soccer player, and a trusted health expert. I’m a proud Canadian with a passion for travel and experiencing life to the fullest.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve built 2 multiple 7-figure health businesses that have helped more than 500,000 men and women reach their goals.
Even though I’ve become one of the most sought-after business strategists and success mentors for health professionals looking to grow their practice, things certainly weren’t always this way.
I got into health after losing all of my hair to an autoimmune condition at just 17 years old. Wanting to heal myself, I sought every practitioner I could find. I was amazed by their knowledge they possessed and the transformation they helped me and thousands of others create.
Yet, I found it odd that many of them were “cast aside” by the allopathic medical community. A seed was planted inside of me that somehow I would help these practitioners shine their light but I would have to wait 15 years before that happened.
First, I had to walk my own journey. So I pursued advanced studies (and got my degree) in Kinesiology and eventually Holistic Nutrition.
After a brief 3-year hiatus to play professional soccer in Europe, I returned home to Toronto where I started working with clients to help them with their health.
Like so many others in our space, I was overworked and underpaid. I worked 12–14 hour days, seeing one client/patient after another and I struggled to make ends meet.
I was trading time for money and had essentially built myself a job, not a real business. I knew that wasn’t the life I wanted to continue living.
So, in 2006, I started coaching clients online and eventually (after many years of struggle) built a very large and successful coaching business doing so.
